Lone Star Grillz “Fire Roasted Salsa"

Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.

Recipe and Ingredients:

- 3 Lbs. of Roma Tomatoes
- 1 large White Onion (cut into 3 large flat circular slices)
- 2 Jalapenos
- 2 Poblano Peppers
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 7 Cloves of Garlic (peeled)
- ¼ cup Cilantro
- 2 Tbsp. Lime Juice
- ½ Tsp. Cumin
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- A few shakes of Lone Star Grills “South of the Border” Rub

DIRECTIONS:

ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.

1) Pre-heat your LSG Santa Maria Grill (or any direct heat grill) to a medium heat
2) Prepare your Veggies by washing
3) Coat Tomatoes, Onion, Jalapenos & Poblano Peppers with Olive Oil, season with LSG
SOB Rub
4) Roast Tomatoes, Onion, Jalapenos & Poblano Peppers on Grill over direct heat until
roasted to your liking
5) Remove and allow it to cool
6) Place ALL ingredients into a blender, blend until you reach your desired thickness
7) Check salt level and add if needed
8) FOR BEST RESULTS, place it in a sealed container in the fridge overnight
9) SERVE WITH CHIPS AND ENJOY!
