- ¼ cup Dried Basil
- 4 cloves of chopped Garlic
- 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion

- 1.5 cups Italian Style Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup grated/shredded Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ cup fresh chopped Parsley
- 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce or you can use Marinara Sauce
- Mozzarella or Provolone Cheese for melting on top of the skillet
DIRECTIONS:
ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.
Steps:
- In a large bowl (for mixing the meatballs) add ground beef, basil, garlic, onion, oregano, eggs, Texas Fusion (or salt/pepper), breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley and mix well with your hands until everything is well-combined and sticks to your hand/glove. This is how you’ll know it’s ready for forming meatballs.
- Form Meatballs into 2.5-3.0-ounce portions.
- Pre-heat your smoker/grill to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (or in that range).
- Place Meatballs onto grill and allow them to cook for approximately 60 minutes or until they reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the center of each meatball.
- Place Meatballs into a 12” round cast-iron skillet, cover with BBQ/marinara sauce, top with cheese.
- Melt in grill/smoker until done to your liking.
- SERVE AND ENJOY!
