Lone Star Grillz “Bacon Wrapped Smokies”
Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.
Recipe and Ingredients:

Little Smokies (ALL BEEF) you can make as many as you want

Medium Thickness Bacon (you need ½ slice per Smokie)

Homemade BBQ Sauce: 2 cups of your favorite Ketchup, ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar, ¼ cup Brown Sugar, ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce, 2 tablespoons of Honey, 1 tablespoon minced or fresh chopped Garlic, 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper (mix all together in grill safe pot).
DIRECTIONS:
ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.

Wrap each little Smokie in ½ slice of Bacon, secure each with toothpick and place on a warming rack for easy transport on/off the smoker.

Mix all ingredients for homemade BBQ Sauce in a grill safe pot.

Pre-heat El Fuego Trio (or any smoker) to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place Smokies and Sauce onto the smoker indirect heat and allow to cook for one hour or until the bacon is done to your liking. Be sure to rotate the Smokies as needs and stir the sauce occasionally.

Remove, serve with chive garnish together and ENJOY!
