Lone Star Grillz “EASY Rotisserie Turkey"
Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.
Recipe and Ingredients:

A Turkey the size of your choice (Fresh if possible)

Olive Oil
-
LSG “Texas Fusion” Rub (or your favorite Turkey Rub)

HERBS: Sage, Thyme, Rosemary (just a little for added flavor)
DIRECTIONS:
ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.

Pre-heat your Lone Star Grillz El Patron to 275-325 (300 Average) Degrees Fahrenheit using Lump Charcoal on adjustable Charcoal Grate (Control temps by raising/lowering the grate and adding coal, when necessary, throughout the cook).

Get Rotisserie Motor onto mount on El Patron.

Unpackage Turkey, remove contents from cavity, rinse.

Remove any excess (hanging) skin from Turkey with sharp knife.

Pat Turkey skin dry.

Apply a light coat of Olive Oil.

Season with LSG Texas Bold + added herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary).

Truss Wings & Legs.
-
Get Turkey onto Rotisserie Rod (centered).

Place Rotisserie hooks onto each end, get them firmly into Turkey, tighten set bolts.

Place Rotisserie onto El Patron through side probe holes.

Secure Rotisserie properly including locking on opposite side with tightening lock bolt.

Turn Rotisserie on and allow the turkey to cook until it breaks over 160 Degrees Fahrenheit in the deepest-coolest part of the Breast, and at least in the 170’s of the dark meat areas.

Remove, rest for 30-45 minutes under foil, SLICE AND ENJOY!
