Lone Star Grillz “Herb Marinated Smoked Chicken Skewers

 

Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination. 


Recipe and Ingredients: 

    • 3 Large Chicken Breasts (trimmed and cut into 1.5-2” portions)
    • 3 to 4 Bell Peppers of your choice 
    • 1 or 2 Large Red Onions
    • Mushrooms (as much or as little as you like)
    • Cubed Pineapple (as much or as little as you like)
  • For Marinade: ¼ cup Olive Oil, 1 teaspoon each of Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, ½ teaspoon each of Rosemary, Thyme, Sage & Paprika (mix all together in a bowl)

  • DIRECTIONS: 

    1. Prepare Marinade with ingredients above.
    2. Mix Chicken cubes and marinade in a bowl well to coat chicken fully, then transfer into a sealed bag for marinating in the fridge for 2-24 hours (the longer the better).
    3. For the cook, place the Chicken and Veggies on Skewers in whatever quantities you prefer.

    The Cook: Pre-heat your Lone Star Grillz Pellet Smoker to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.  Once pre-heated, place Chicken Skewers on the cooker. Allow them to cook for approximately one hour or until the chicken reaches 160-165 degrees Fahrenheit.  Remove from cooker and allow a few minutes to cool. SERVE AND ENJOY!
