Lone Star Grillz “Smoked BBQ Chicken”

Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to
prevent contamination.

Recipe and Ingredients:

- Bone-in Chicken
- Olive Oil (as a binder if you wish)
- Your favorite BBQ Rub/Seasoning (Or use a homemade version of equal parts Sea Salt, Ground Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, and ½ part Cayenne Pepper for OPTIONAL HEAT)
- Your favorite BBQ Sauce

DIRECTIONS:

1) Unpackage Chicken, trim if you like
2) Coat with Olive Oil
3) Apply Rub/Seasoning generously to all surfaces
4) Allow to sit and absorb Rub while you pre-heat your Smoker

The Cook: (this cook normally takes around 90 minutes)

Pre-heat your Lone Star Grillz Pellet Smoker to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Once pre-heated, place Chicken on the cooker. Allow to cook for around an hour, then generously apply BBQ Sauce. Allow to finish cooking to a safe temperature of mid 165 Degrees Fahrenheit for White Meat, and 175-180 minimum for Dark Meat. Remove from cooker, allow to cool for a couple minutes, SERVE AND ENJOY!
