Lone Star Grillz “Buffalo Chicken Dip”
Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.
Recipe and Ingredients:

1.5 pounds of Shredded Chicken Breast (you can use leftovers or make fresh)

1 cup of your favorite Hot Sauce (Frank’s works great for this recipe)

8oz. of softened room temperature Cream Cheese

1 cup Ranch Dressing (or Bleu Cheese)

1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
-
¼ teaspoon of Celery Salt

2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 for mix, 1 for topping)

½ cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Scallions/Chives for Garnish
DIRECTIONS:
ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.

In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, dressing, garlic powder, celery salt, 1 cup cheddar cheese and mix well to fully combine.

Transfer to a cast iron skillet (10 inch) and flatten top area, then cover with remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.

Pre-heat your smoker to 225 degrees Fahrenheit then place dip on smoker and close lid for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, increase temperature to 275 degrees and tent skillet lightly with foil to melt for 30 minutes.

Remove from cooker, allow it to cool for a few minutes, garnish with chives or scallions.
