Lone Star Grillz “JUICY Chicken Breast”
Remember to always wash your hands prior to preparing. Use food grade gloves where appropriate to prevent contamination.
Recipe and Ingredients:

Chicken Breasts (we used 4 in this video)

Morton’s Coarse Kosher Salt

Homemade Salt-Free Rub (Equal parts of Black Pepper, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder) we used 1 tablespoon of each in this video

Olive Oil
-
Your favorite side dishes
DIRECTIONS:
ALWAYS START BY WASHING YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO PREPARING ANY FOOD FOR FOOD SAFETY.

Unpackage and Trim your Chicken Breasts to your liking

Place Chicken on a tray w/warming rack to keep it elevated during salt brine

Apply ½ teaspoon of Morton’s Coarse Kosher Salt to all sides/surfaces of each chicken breast (if you lean slightly to the generous side, you will get better results, but be careful if you’re on a low-sodium diet)

Place chicken w/tray into the fridge overnight uncovered

Before the cook, remove the chicken from the fridge and coat with Olive Oil on all sides

Coat with salt-free rub (recipe above) generously

Pre-Heat your smoker to 275 Degrees Fahrenheit

Place chicken on smoker indirect when fully pre-heated

Flip once during cook about half way through

Remove each chicken breast when it reaches a temperature of 158-60 degrees Fahrenheit in the deepest coolest part of the center of thickest area

Rest in foil for 10 minutes

Slice and serve!
